What was done

Lumeo, the shared electronic health record of six Southeastern Ontario organizations (Brockville General, Kingston Health Sciences Centre, Lennox and Addington County General, Perth and Smiths Falls District, Providence Care and Quinte Health), selected Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent for a pilot. The voice-enabled agent sits inside the EHR and generates draft notes from clinical interactions in near real time, which physicians review, edit and validate at the point of care.

Outcome

This is a pilot announcement, so no results are published yet; Lumeo says it expects to see outcomes over the next year.

Prompt Reconstructed by AgentsNorth

The source didn't publish its prompt. This is our reconstruction of a starting prompt for a similar workflow, not the company's actual prompt.

You are a voice-enabled documentation agent inside a hospital's electronic health record. During the encounter, capture the clinical conversation and draft a narrative note in the correct section of the chart: reason for visit, history, findings, assessment and plan. Pull in relevant existing chart data such as current medications and allergies, and highlight any discrepancies with what was said. Leave the note as a draft for the physician to review, edit and sign.
